U-verse Login Guide: Sign In to Your Account
Where to Sign In to U-verse
Use AT&T’s official account sign-in page for your U-verse login. Start on the official AT&T website, select the account or profile icon, and choose the option labeled “Sign in.” You can also open AT&T Support and select its “Sign in” button.
A legitimate page should identify itself as an AT&T sign-in page and ask for an AT&T ID and password. Older instructions may call the ID a U-verse Member ID. It may be an AT&T email address.
Avoid sign-in pages reached through unexpected messages or ads. If you are unsure about a page, close it and navigate from the official AT&T homepage. Do not give anyone a password or one-time verification code.
Step-by-Step Login Instructions
Have your AT&T ID and password ready. If you added extra security to the account, you may also need its passcode or access to a registered verification method.
- Open the official AT&T website in your browser.
- Select the account or profile icon, then select “Sign in.”
- Enter your AT&T ID in the first field. For some U-verse accounts, this is the Member ID or AT&T email address created with the service.
- Enter the password carefully. AT&T passwords are case-sensitive, so uppercase and lowercase letters must match.
- Select “Sign in” to submit the form.
- Complete any identity check shown on the screen.
After a successful uverse login, AT&T opens the account area connected to that ID. If the ID is associated with more than one service, check that you are viewing the U-verse account. Use the account-switching option if AT&T displays one.
On a private device, the page may offer to remember the ID. Do not use that option on a shared or public device. Sign out when finished.
Forgot Username or Password
Start recovery from AT&T’s official sign-in page. Look below the sign-in fields for “Forgot user ID?” or “Forgot password?” AT&T Support also has an account-access section with options commonly labeled “Find my ID” and “Reset my password.”
To reset a password, enter the AT&T ID and the last name associated with that ID when requested. Choose an available verification method, follow the prompts, and then enter and confirm a new password.
If you forgot the ID, choose the ID-recovery option instead of guessing repeatedly. Follow the prompts and provide the identifying or contact information requested on the official page. You may need access to contact information already connected to the account.
Enter names exactly as they appear on the account. If the page cannot verify you, do not create a different ID just to get around the problem. That new ID may not be connected to the existing U-verse account.
Common Login Problems
Wrong ID: Try the U-verse Member ID or AT&T email address associated with the account. If you have several AT&T IDs, use the official “Forgot user ID?” flow to identify the correct one.
Wrong password: Check capitalization, remove accidental spaces, and make sure the browser did not insert an old saved password. Type the password manually once. If it still fails, use “Forgot password?”
Repeated failed attempts: Stop guessing if AT&T reports that access is locked or temporarily restricted. Follow the recovery instructions displayed on the official page. Repeated attempts with the same incorrect information can delay access.
Verification message does not arrive: Confirm that the displayed destination is one you can access. Check filtered or junk messages, wait for the page to update, and use another offered verification method if available.
Page does not load: Check the connection, refresh once, or close and reopen the browser. Disable a content blocker for the sign-in attempt, clear AT&T site data, or try a private browsing window or another current browser.
Sign-in loop: Allow cookies for the official AT&T site, close duplicate sign-in tabs, and begin again from the AT&T homepage. A private browsing window can help identify a problem caused by stored site data.
Signing In from a Mobile Device
In a mobile browser, use the same official AT&T sign-in page and the same AT&T ID and password. The menu may appear behind a profile icon or menu button, but the basic u verse login steps are unchanged.
The official AT&T app also uses the AT&T ID and password used on the website. Open the app and follow its sign-in prompts. If a computer sign-in page offers “Sign in with the AT&T app,” it may display a QR code or send an in-app prompt after you choose your registered number. Follow only the instructions shown by the official page and app.
If the app fails but the browser works, update or restart the app. If both fail with the same credentials, use account recovery rather than repeatedly switching between them.
Contacting Support for Login Issues
If self-service recovery does not work, open the official AT&T Support site and choose U-verse TV or account access. Look for “Contact us,” “Get help,” or the support option shown for that service. The official support page provides the currently available contact methods.
Have the account holder’s name, the AT&T ID or Member ID you tried, and any exact error message ready. Support may ask for account-identifying information and an account passcode. Never send a password or one-time verification code to someone who contacts you unexpectedly.
Explain whether the problem affects the website, the app, or both, and whether password recovery recognized the ID. This helps support focus on account access without requiring you to keep attempting the same failed login.
