Official Shop Pay Support Options

Start with the official Shop Help Center. Search for the page titled “Contact the Shop support team,” then use the contact option shown there. This is the verified route for questions about Shop Pay, the Shop app, account access, and general payment features.

Choose the channel according to the problem:

  • Contact Shop Support for trouble using Shop Pay, signing in, or managing information connected with the service.
  • Contact the merchant for an order, cancellation, return, delivery, or refund request.
  • Use the official Affirm Shop Pay Installments Help Center for installment payments, financing-account questions, disputes, or suspected installment fraud.
  • Contact the card issuer or bank promptly if a card charge appears unauthorized. Use the number printed on the card or shown in the issuer’s official app.

Open support pages by navigating from the official Shop or Shopify site. Avoid contact details copied from advertisements, comments, forums, or unofficial directories. Search capitalization does not change the correct route: Shop pay customer service, SHOP PAY CUSTOMER SERVICE, and shop pay customer service all refer readers back to verified support.

Shop Pay Customer Service Number

The official Shop Help Center directs customers to online Shop Support and does not list a general public Shop Pay customer service number. Do not call a number simply because a search result labels it “Shop Pay customer service.” Sponsored results and third-party directories can display unrelated or fraudulent contact information.

If you search for a Shop Pay customer service number, open the company’s own Help Center result and look for “Contact the Shop support team.” Use only the contact method displayed during that official session. The same warning applies to results written as Shop pay customer service number or SHOP PAY CUSTOMER SERVICE NUMBER.

A caller claiming to represent support should never need your password, a complete card number, or a verification code. End the call if someone asks for those details. For a bank-card emergency, contact the card issuer through its official app or the number printed on the card rather than searching for a number.

Get Help With Account Access

Go to the official Shop website or open the Shop app and select its normal sign-in entry. Follow only the prompts displayed there. If access fails, use the account-help or sign-in-help option provided on that screen, or navigate to the official Shop Help Center and find the account section.

Before contacting support, check that you are using the email address or phone number previously connected with Shop Pay. Also check whether your device can receive messages and whether a code was filtered as spam. Do not repeatedly guess codes or follow recovery instructions sent by an unknown person.

If the official process does not restore access, contact Shop Support from the Help Center. Explain what happens without sending a password or verification code. Mention whether the problem occurs in the app, on the Shop website, or during a merchant’s checkout.

Support for Payments and Refunds

The right contact depends on the transaction. If Shop Pay will not load, rejects saved information, or presents an account-related error, contact Shop Support. If the merchant declined, canceled, duplicated, or refunded an order, begin with that merchant because the merchant controls its order and return decisions.

For a pending or unfamiliar card charge, first compare the date, amount, and merchant name with the order confirmation. Merchant names on statements can differ from storefront names. Ask the merchant to identify the transaction. Contact the card issuer immediately through a verified channel if you still believe the charge is unauthorized.

Shop Pay Installments is supported by Affirm. Questions about an installment account, scheduled installment payment, financing dispute, or unauthorized installment transaction should follow the appropriate path in Affirm’s official Shop Pay Installments Help Center. General questions about how Shop Pay Installments appears or works can go to Shop Support.

A merchant handles approval of a return and starts any related refund. Shop Pay support cannot promise that a merchant will grant one. For an installment order, contact the merchant about the return first, then consult Affirm’s official help resources if the approved refund is not reflected in the installment account.

Help With Orders and Deliveries

Shop Pay helps with checkout, but the store fulfills the order. Contact the merchant for order status, address changes, cancellations, returns, exchanges, missing items, damaged goods, or a package marked delivered but not received.

Use the contact details in the order confirmation or navigate directly to the merchant’s official site and look for “Contact,” “Help,” or “Returns.” Include the order number, but do not send full payment-card details. If the merchant supplied a carrier tracking number, check it through the carrier’s official site or app.

The Shop app may display tracking information, but Shop Support generally cannot provide order details beyond what appears there. If tracking has stopped or conflicts with the merchant’s information, ask the merchant to investigate with the carrier. Shop Support is appropriate when the Shop app itself shows an error or associates an order with the wrong account.

Information to Prepare Before Contacting Support

Collect a short, factual summary before opening a support request. Useful non-sensitive details include:

  • Your name and the email address or phone number associated with the account.
  • The merchant’s name and the order number.
  • The transaction date and amount, without a full card number.
  • The last four digits of the payment card, only if the verified support form requests them.
  • The exact error message and the step where it appeared.
  • Your device type, browser or app, and whether you already tried another connection.
  • Relevant screenshots with addresses, card details, and codes covered.
  • A brief record of earlier contact with the merchant, Shop Support, Affirm, carrier, or card issuer.

Never share your password, complete card number, card security code, bank login, or one-time verification code. A support agent does not need a code that authorizes access or a payment. Keep the request focused, identify the result you need, and send sensitive information only through a verified official process when it is specifically required.
