Synchrony Login and Account Access Help

Official Synchrony Login Page
Open {site} and select Sign In. This is the safest route to the official Synchrony login because the verified company site directs you to the current account system.
Before entering anything, confirm that the page identifies Synchrony and that your browser shows a secure connection. Do not use a sign-in link from an unexpected text, email, advertisement, or search result. If you opened one, close it and start again from {site}.
The terms Synchrony sign in, Synchrony log in, Synchrony online login, and Synchrony customer login all refer generally to online account access. They do not guarantee that a search result is official.
How to Sign In to MySynchrony
Have your username and password ready. Then follow these steps for a MySynchrony login or Synchrony account login:
- Select Sign In on the official site.
- Enter the username and password created for online access.
- Select Continue or Sign In, as shown.
- Complete an identity check if Synchrony does not recognize the device.
- If an account manager appears, choose the card account you want to view.
Synchrony says one set of current credentials can manage participating accounts. Some accounts are excluded. If an eligible card is missing, look for Add Synchrony Account to Manager and follow the prompts. Never continue if the account manager displays a card that is not yours; contact Synchrony instead.
Use Remember Me only on a private device you control. A shared or public phone or computer should not store your Synchrony account log-in details.
Find the Correct Login for Your Synchrony Card
Not every Synchrony card uses the same portal. Retail cards, partner-branded cards, CareCredit, certain Mastercard accounts, savings products, loans, and commercial accounts may have different access pages.
Use the official Find Account page and search for the name printed on your card or statement. Choose Account Access, Sign In, or the equivalent option beside the matching result. This is safer than guessing which MySynchrony login page applies.
If the brand is not listed, check the back of the card or a recent statement for the issuer’s account-access directions. A partner brand may send you to its own official account system even though Synchrony issued the card. Old bookmarks can also lead to an outdated Synchrony card login, so return to the official account finder when in doubt.
Recover a Username or Reset a Password
On the correct sign-in screen, select the forgotten-username or forgotten-password option that matches the problem. Follow the prompts on that official recovery page rather than using instructions from an email or another website.
For username recovery, Synchrony may ask for primary cardholder information, including the account number, the last four digits of the primary cardholder’s Social Security number, and date of birth. Enter these details only inside the verified recovery flow.
For a password reset, select Reset Password and complete the identity checks shown. Create a password that meets the rules displayed on the page. If a password manager keeps filling an old password, update or remove its saved entry before trying again.
If you cannot answer a security question, use the separate security-question reset option when offered. Do not repeatedly guess. Synchrony may place additional controls on access after unsuccessful attempts.
Register for Online Account Access
An existing primary cardholder can select Register from the appropriate account page. Registration generally requires:
- The full account number from the card, billing statement, or the paper that held the mailed card.
- The last four digits of the primary cardholder’s Social Security number.
- The primary cardholder’s date of birth.
Enter the information exactly as it appears on the account, then create a username and password under the rules shown. Synchrony states that registration is limited to the primary account holder. An authorized user or joint account holder cannot create separate sign-in credentials for that card through this process.
Retail cards may require registration through the retailer-specific login page. Use Find Account first so registration is attached to the correct Synchrony card account.
Fix Common Synchrony Login Problems
Credentials are rejected: Check capitalization, keyboard language, and accidental spaces. Stop guessing and use the official recovery option if the details still fail.
Access appears locked: Wait for the instructions on screen or contact the support team listed for that exact card. Do not create a second registration to bypass the lock.
A verification question appears: This can happen on an unrecognized device. Answer only on the verified page. Use a familiar private device if one is available.
A code does not arrive: Confirm that the displayed destination is familiar, check blocked messages, and request another code only after allowing time for the first. Support may need to verify outdated contact details.
The page will not load: Close and reopen the browser, clear stored site data, disable autofill temporarily, or try a current browser. Avoid public wireless networks for account access.
The wrong card appears: Sign out, return to Find Account, and select the exact card brand. Contact Synchrony if an account that is not yours remains visible.
Contact Synchrony Account Support
Use the official Contact Us page and choose the category that matches your card or account. Synchrony lists different support contacts by account type, so a general number may not reach the right team.
You can also use the customer service number printed on the back of the card or on a current statement. Verified service hours appear with the relevant contact listing; check them there because availability can differ by card and support department.
For sign-in trouble, the official help material says cardholders can complete identity validation through the phone system and request Online Assistance. Chat may also appear on the sign-in screen. Never send a password, one-time security code, or full card number through an unsecured message.
