Sign In With Another Account

To log in to a different account, sign out of the account that is open, return to the sign-in screen, and enter the other account’s credentials. If a saved-account menu appears, select the correct account or choose the option to use another account.
How do I sign out of the current account?
Before starting another account login, make sure the current session has ended. Closing a tab or leaving an app may not sign you out, so another person could reopen the same account.
- Open the profile, account, or menu area. Look for a profile picture, initials, a person-shaped icon, or a menu button near the top of the screen.
- Select an option labeled Sign Out, Log Out, or a similar phrase. If several accounts are listed, confirm that you are signing out of the account currently in use.
- Wait for the sign-in screen or public home page to appear. Do not enter the other credentials until the previous account’s private information is no longer visible.
- Confirm the session has ended by reopening the profile area or refreshing the page. A Sign In button instead of an account name normally indicates that you are signed out.
If no sign-out option is visible, check the account settings or the bottom of the main menu. In an app, the option may be inside Settings rather than on the first profile screen.
How do I sign in with another account?
Once the previous session has ended, open {site} or return to the app’s sign-in screen. Have the username or email address and password for the other account ready.
- Select Sign In or Log In.
- If the previous account is still shown, choose Use another account, Sign in with a different account, or a similarly labeled option.
- Enter the username, email address, or other account identifier belonging to the account you want to open. Remove any text filled in for the previous user.
- Enter the password for that same account. Passwords may be case-sensitive, so check capital letters and avoid adding spaces.
- Complete any verification prompt presented by the official service.
- After signing in, check the displayed name or email address before viewing or changing account information.
The phrases “login with another account,” “login to another account,” and “login another account” all describe the same basic process: leave the existing session and submit a different set of credentials.
Can I switch accounts without signing out?
An account switcher is a menu that lets a person move between accounts already connected to the same browser or app session. Some services show this feature when you select the profile picture, initials, or account name, but its availability depends on the service and device.
- Open the profile or account menu.
- Look for Switch Account, Change Account, Add Account, or a list of saved profiles.
- Select the account you want. If it is not listed, choose the option to add or use another account and enter its credentials.
- Check the name or email address shown after the page loads to make sure the switch worked.
A saved account is not necessarily an active session. The service may still ask for that account’s password or an official verification step. On a shared phone or computer, signing out completely is safer than leaving several accounts available in a switcher.
How do I remove a saved account from the sign-in screen?
Removing a saved account from a device generally removes its name or credentials from that sign-in screen; it does not delete the account itself. Read the confirmation message carefully and avoid any separate option that explicitly says it will close or delete the account.
- Sign out and return to the screen that lists saved accounts.
- Look beside the unwanted entry for Remove, Forget, Manage Accounts, an X, or a menu icon.
- Select the removal option and confirm that you want the device or browser to forget the account.
- Return to the sign-in screen and check that the saved entry is gone.
If the entry comes from the browser’s password manager, remove the saved credential through the browser’s password settings. If the entry comes from an account connected at the device level, review the device’s account settings. Removing a device-level connection may affect other apps that use that same account, so check the prompt before confirming.
How do I recover access to the other account?
If you cannot log in to another account, use only the recovery choices shown on the official sign-in screen. Do not reuse recovery instructions from an unrelated service because usernames, verification methods, and recovery checks differ.
- Select Forgot Username, Forgot Email, Forgot Password, Trouble Signing In, or the closest available option.
- Enter information tied to the account you are trying to recover, not information for the account that was previously open.
- Follow the official prompts and check the recovery email address or phone method associated with that account, if offered.
- Create a new password only through the official recovery flow, then return to the sign-in screen and enter the recovered username and new password.
If recovery information is unavailable or no longer current, use the support or account-help section on {site}. Share only the information requested through the official process, and never send a password or verification code to another person.
Why can’t I switch to another account?
Account-switching problems often come from a cached session, which is stored browser or app data that keeps the previous login active. Incorrect saved credentials, blocked cookies, or an outdated app can also return you to the wrong account.
- Cached session: Sign out again, close every tab for the service, reopen the browser, and try the sign-in with another account process.
- Incorrect saved credentials: Delete the filled username and password, then type the other account’s details manually. Check which email address belongs to which password.
- Browser cookies: Cookies are small files that websites use to remember sessions. Clear the service’s cookies through browser settings, understanding that this may sign you out of that service.
- Outdated app: Check the device’s official app store for an available update, install it, and restart the app before trying another account login again.
- Private browsing: Open a private or incognito window and attempt to log in to another account there. A private window starts without most existing session data, although the service may still require its normal verification.
If private browsing works, stored browser data or an extension may be interfering with the regular session. If it does not work, confirm the credentials through the official recovery options and try another supported browser or device.
