Ways to Check a Ross Gift Card Balance
The clearest official method for a Ross gift card balance check is to call the gift card customer service number printed on the back of the card. You can also take the card to a Ross Dress for Less store and ask an associate for help.
Ross does not currently provide a clearly labeled, public self-service balance checker on its main Gift Cards page. If you want to check a Ross gift card balance online, start only from the official Ross website. Avoid entering the card number or PIN on a balance-check site reached through an advertisement or an unfamiliar search result.
Your options are:
- Call the gift card customer service number shown on the card.
- Ask an associate at a Ross store to check or help verify the balance.
- Use the Contact Us form on the official Ross website if the card cannot be checked normally.
- Review the receipt from the most recent transaction made with the card, if available, because it may show the remaining balance.
A Ross gift card is different from a Ross credit card. Make sure you use gift card instructions, not the credit card Account Center or credit card support information.
Check Your Balance Online
To look for an official Ross gift card balance online, open the official Ross Dress for Less website by typing the company name into your browser or using a trusted bookmark. Select the Gift Cards section. Do not follow a sponsored result that claims to be a Ross card balance check.
At present, the main Ross Gift Cards page does not display a clearly identified self-service balance form. If Ross adds one, it should be reached from that official section and should identify exactly which card details are required. A typical balance form may request the full gift card number and a security code or PIN from the card, but do not assume a field belongs to Ross unless you reached it through the official site.
If no official balance form appears, use these steps:
- Go back to the official Ross website.
- Open the Contact Us page.
- Read the gift card information and select the appropriate gift card topic in the contact form.
- Enter only the information the official form marks as required, such as the gift card number and receipt details.
- Describe the problem without including unrelated financial or identity information.
The contact form is a request for assistance, not an instant balance checker. Never send a gift card PIN through an unofficial form, email, text message, or social media account.
Check the Balance by Phone
For a Ross gift card balance by phone, turn the card over and find the wording for balance inquiries or customer service. Call the number printed there. This avoids relying on an old or incorrect number copied by another website.
Have the physical card ready. The automated system or representative may ask for the full card number and, if the card has one, its PIN or security code. Enter the digits carefully and wait until each prompt finishes. A worn card can make similar-looking digits difficult to distinguish.

Ross instructs customers to retain the original register receipt for gift cards. Its published policy says a lost or stolen gift card can be replaced only for any remaining balance when the original receipt is presented. Without that receipt, replacement may not be available.
For a lost or stolen card, use the official Ross Contact Us page or visit a Ross store. Have the original receipt ready. Support may request receipt information, the gift card number if you recorded it, and details identifying the transaction. Ross must determine whether any balance remains before a replacement can be considered.
For a damaged card, keep every part of it and do not discard the original receipt. Take both to a store or submit a request through the official Contact Us form. Include the readable card number and receipt details only where the official form requests them. Never post card images, numbers, PINs, or receipts publicly.
