To change your Pandora password, open the account settings while signed in, enter a new password, and save the change after confirming your current password. If you cannot sign in, use Pandora’s Forgot Password option and follow the link sent to the email address registered to your account.

Change Your Pandora Password While Signed In

A Pandora password change is available from the Account area of your settings. Have your current password ready because Pandora uses it to confirm the change.

In the Pandora mobile app:

  1. Open your Profile.
  2. Select the Settings gear in the upper-right corner.
  3. Select Account.
  4. Enter the new password in the password field.
  5. Select Save and enter your current password when asked to confirm the change.

In a computer browser:

  1. Open the company’s official website and sign in to Pandora.
  2. Select your profile icon, which may show your picture or initial, in the upper-right corner.
  3. Select Settings, then Account.
  4. Select Edit next to Account Info.
  5. Replace the existing password with the new password.
  6. Select Save and confirm the change with your current password.

Do not close the page before the save step is complete. After saving, sign out and sign back in with the new password to confirm that you recorded it correctly.

Reset a Forgotten Pandora Password

A password reset replaces a password you cannot remember. It differs from a signed-in Pandora change password request because you do not need to enter the old password.

To start the reset in the mobile app:

  1. Open Pandora and go to the sign-in screen.
  2. Select Forgot Password below the sign-in fields.
  3. Enter the full email address used for the Pandora account.
  4. Submit the request and wait for the password-reset email.

If Forgot Password is not visible, the app may already be signed in. Sign out before returning to the sign-in screen, or use Pandora’s official password help through the company’s official website.

On a computer, open Pandora’s sign-in area, choose the forgotten-password option, and enter the email address registered to the account. Enter the address carefully; a typing error sends the request for an account that does not match yours.

Find and Use the Reset Email

The official reset email should relate directly to the request you just made and provide a link for setting a new Pandora password. Treat an unexpected password message as suspicious, especially if you did not request it.

  1. Open the inbox for the email address entered on the reset form.
  2. Look for a recent message identifying Pandora and referring to a password reset.
  3. Check the sender details before selecting anything in the message.
  4. Preview the reset link when your email app permits it and confirm that its destination belongs to Pandora’s official domain.
  5. Open the link, enter the new password on Pandora’s page, and submit the change.

If the message is missing, check Spam, Junk, Promotions, Updates, Quarantine, and other filtered folders. Search the mailbox for “Pandora” and “password reset.” Also review blocked-sender and email-filter settings, particularly if earlier Pandora messages were marked as junk.

Request another reset only after confirming that the email address is correct. If several messages arrive, use the link in the newest message because an earlier reset link may no longer be accepted.

Fix Password Change and Sign-In Problems

If Pandora says it does not recognize the email address, the account may be registered under a different address. Check saved sign-in details, old Pandora messages, and other email accounts you previously used. Pandora accounts follow the registered email address rather than the phone or computer being used.

Common recovery problems have different next steps:

  • An email address is not recognized: Check for typing mistakes and try another address you may have used for Pandora. Do not create a separate account if your goal is to recover existing account information.

  • The reset link is expired or rejected: Return to the official forgotten-password process and request a fresh email. Open the newest message and avoid reusing an older link.

  • The reset page will not load: Try a private browser window, clear the browser’s stored data for Pandora, or use another current browser. Request a new link afterward if necessary.

  • The new password does not work: Enter the complete account email and the new password manually. Check capitalization, remove accidental spaces, and make sure a password manager is not filling the old password.

  • The signed-in change will not save: Confirm that the current password, not the proposed new one, is being used for verification.

If Pandora remains open on another device, that session does not prove the new password failed. Test the password by signing in again without ending a session you may need for checking account details.

Secure Your Pandora Account

Choose a password used only for Pandora. A unique password prevents a password exposed through an unrelated service from also unlocking the Pandora account.

A password manager can generate and store a long password without requiring you to reuse one. Do not send the password by email or message, and do not enter it on a page reached through an unexpected alert.

If you suspect unauthorized access, change the Pandora password from a trusted device. When the computer-based password-change screen offers the option to log out all other devices, select it before submitting the change. Also secure the registered email account, because anyone who can access that inbox may be able to request another reset.

Contact Pandora Support

Contact Pandora Support when the registered email is no longer accessible, reset messages never arrive after filter checks, every new link is rejected, or the account details appear to have been changed without permission.

  1. Open Pandora’s official Help area.
  2. Choose Password Help or the contact option.
  3. Use the official support form and describe the exact error shown.
  4. Provide the email address you believe is registered to the account and note which recovery steps you completed.
  5. Do not include your current password, proposed password, or full email-account credentials.

Keep any confirmation message from the support form. Respond only through the official support conversation, and verify that later messages refer to the request you submitted.
