Important Tip
You can begin chat with the online agent to apply My Associate discount to an online order.
Apply a gift card to your order
A gift card is entered during checkout, not in the associate discount area. Keep the card number and any PIN or security code ready.
- Add your items and continue to checkout.
- Look for the gift card or payment section.
- Enter the card number and PIN exactly as printed.
- Select the button to apply the card, then confirm that it appears in the payment summary before submitting the order.
If the card is rejected, check for spaces, typing errors, or a scratched-off PIN that is hard to read. Also make sure you are using a gift card, not an associate discount card or store credit card. If the balance does not appear correctly, stop before submitting the order and use customer support at {site}.
Request access to an associate account
“Apply for access” usually means requesting permission to use an employee system or associate benefit. It is different from applying for a payment card.
Have your associate ID, work email, employment details, and any invitation or registration code ready. Open the employee access or registration area provided by your manager or HR team. Enter your information exactly as it appears in employment records, create the requested sign-in details, and complete any identity check shown on the screen.
If the system says your information cannot be found, do not create several accounts. Check your name and associate ID first. A new employee may also need to wait until the employment record is active. Ask a manager or HR contact to confirm that your record and email address are correct. If you previously had access, use account recovery instead of submitting a new access request.
Apply for a card or check an application
To apply for a Sears-branded payment card, start at {site} and choose the card application option. Read the issuer’s current terms before continuing. Have your legal name, home address, date of birth, contact details, and other identity information requested by the issuer ready. Submit the form only once and save the confirmation or reference number.
To check an application, return to the card application status area if one is offered. Enter the same personal details used on the application and the reference number, if requested. If no status tool appears, contact the card issuer through the support option shown in the application confirmation.
If “new card” means a replacement for an existing card, do not submit another credit application. Sign in to the card account and look for replacement-card help. For a lost or stolen card, use the issuer’s lost-card process promptly. For an expired card that has not arrived, verify the mailing address before asking the issuer about a replacement.
