Your card is considered temporary at first. All you have to do is to register it into a personalized one. A temporary one must be activated before you can use it for your purchases. Getting Started With KPFPrepaid

Register for your very own temporary or personalized card if you do not own one yet. The following are the participating merchants:

Activate the temporary card that you have purchased using the 16 digit number as well as its 3 digit security code. These codes are located at the back. Login so you can check your point balance and make a request to make it personalized.

Login any time and check your reward balance using a Personalized device from KPF Prepaid. Keep updated with the remaining balance of your account for your convenience. Your transactions will be turned down if the balance in your account is empty.

How to Reload

These are the three methods that you can choose to add funds to your card:

Cash Reload. Pay a Reload fee of just at the service desk or check lane of any participating stores and load funds into.

Direct Deposit. Print and fill out a direct deposit form. Submit it to your employer so you can be enrolled in direct deposit. On your payday, you will receive your funds of up to ,000. This method is considered to be the fastest and most convenient option for you. Direct deposit is also free of charge.

ReCharge Card Purchase. You can obtain your ReCharge cards at any Kroger family stores. Choose an amount from to ,000 to load. There is a ReCharge fee of for this transaction.

Card Number and Account Number Are Not the Same

The card number identifies the prepaid card when you make a purchase or manage it online. An account number is used for bank transfers or direct deposit. Do not assume the long number printed on the card is also the account number.

If a form asks for an account number or routing number, sign in at the company’s official website and look for the direct deposit details provided for your card. Copy those details exactly. If no such details appear, do not substitute the card number.

Keep all of these numbers private. A legitimate balance check should not require you to send card details by text, email, or social media.

When the Balance Looks Wrong

First compare the available balance with the recent transaction list. A pending purchase may temporarily reduce what you can spend even though it has not fully posted. A reversed or canceled transaction may also take time to disappear.

1. Check that you are viewing the card you intended to use.
2. Review pending and completed transactions separately.
3. Look for duplicate charges, unfamiliar purchases, or a reload that has not appeared.
4. Save the date, merchant name, and transaction status before asking for help.

A search result that calls itself a “debit card balance checker” is not a safe substitute for the card’s official account page. Use the company’s official website or the contact information printed on the card or its packaging. Stop entering information if a page asks for an unrelated bank password, remote access to your phone, or payment to reveal the balance.

Prepaid Debit Card or Gift Card?

The KPF card described on this page is a reloadable prepaid debit card. It should not be treated as a one-time store gift card. A gift card may have different rules for registration, reloading, expiration, and resolving disputed purchases.

Before following any instructions, read the exact name on the front and back of the card. If it says “gift card,” use the balance and activation directions supplied with that specific card. Do not enter a different gift card’s number into a KPF account.

If you are trying to open a card for another person, do not register it in your own name unless the card terms specifically allow that setup. Registration can require personal details for identity checks, so the intended cardholder should complete the process and review the agreement before using the card.

Activation Problems

If activation does not complete, avoid repeated guesses. Check that the card details were entered exactly as printed and that the card type matches the activation option you selected. Remove spaces added by your phone and correct any digits that may have been mistaken for letters.

A card that has already been registered, replaced, locked, or reported missing may not accept the normal activation process. Keep the card and its packaging nearby, note the error message, and use the official support details printed on the card. Never share a PIN or a one-time security code with someone who contacts you unexpectedly.
