To complete an Ed login, open {site}, choose the learner sign-in option, and enter the credentials supplied by your organization. After Ed accepts the credentials, the learner dashboard displays the courses and lessons assigned to that account.

The Ed website and Ed app use the same learner account, although some organizations require single sign-on, known as SSO, instead of an Ed password.

Official Ed Login Page

The safest route to the official Ed login page is {site}. Select the learner sign-in option unless you manage courses and need the separate administrator portal.

Searches such as “ed com login” may show advertisements, help articles, or unrelated services. Do not enter credentials on a page reached through an unfamiliar result. Confirm that the page identifies the service as Ed or EdApp and that the browser shows a secure connection.

If your employer or training provider sent an invitation, follow its instructions. The invitation may contain a username, temporary password, invite code, or organization-specific SSO method.

Step-by-Step: Logging In Online

  1. Open the official Ed login page using the verified site marker on this page.
  2. Select Sign In and make sure you are entering the learner area, not the administrator portal.
  3. Enter the email address or username associated with your Ed account. Use the exact identifier shown in your invitation.
  4. Enter your password. If your organization supplied a temporary password, type it exactly as provided.
  5. Select the login button once and wait for the request to finish.
  6. If your organization uses SSO, select the SSO option, enter the requested business identifier, and continue through your organization’s sign-in screen.
  7. After authentication, confirm that the Ed dashboard shows the expected courses or lessons.

An empty dashboard does not always mean the ed login failed. The account may be signed in correctly but lack an assignment, or it may belong to the wrong organizational group. Ask the learning program administrator to check the account and course assignment.

Logging In Through the Ed App

For an ed app login, install the official Ed or EdApp mobile learning application from the Apple App Store or Google Play. The safest download route is the store button in an official invitation or on the company’s official site. Check the app name and publisher information before installing it.

  1. Open the installed app and select Sign In.
  2. Enter the username or email and password supplied by the organization.
  3. If the account uses SSO, choose the SSO option and follow the organization’s authentication prompts.
  4. Allow the app to finish signing in and synchronizing before looking for assigned content.

The app flow is similar to the website, but it may ask for notification permission and may synchronize course content after login. The website opens the learner dashboard directly in a browser. The same credentials normally work in both places unless an organization has imposed a specific access method.

Forgot Password or Username

Ed provides a password-recovery option on the learner login screen for accounts connected to a working email address.

  1. Select Forgot your password on the login screen.
  2. Enter the email address registered with the Ed account.
  3. Submit one request, then check the inbox and spam or junk folder.
  4. Open the newest reset message and follow its instructions to create a new password.
  5. Return to Ed and sign in with the new password.

A magic link may also be offered. A magic link is an email link that signs the account in without requiring the forgotten password. After using it, change the password from the account settings if that option is available.

Ed does not document a general self-service username-recovery process for every organization. If the username is unknown, check the original invitation or ask the learning program administrator. SSO users should contact their organization’s IT team because their username and password may be controlled outside Ed.

Common Login Errors and Fixes

  • Email or password rejected: Check spelling, capitalization, spaces, and whether the invitation uses a username instead of an email address. Reset the password if necessary.
  • Reset email never arrives: Confirm that the registered address was entered correctly, check spam or junk, and avoid sending repeated requests. Ask the organization’s administrator to verify the account email.
  • SSO does not continue: Confirm the business identifier and use the organization credentials requested on the SSO screen. Contact the organization’s IT team if those credentials fail.
  • Page will not load: Check the connection, reload the page, enable cookies and JavaScript, or try a current browser. Clearing cached site data may resolve a page that repeatedly displays old information.
  • App freezes or shows an error: Force-close Ed, reopen it, and confirm that the app is current. Restart the phone or switch to a stable connection if the problem continues.
  • Dashboard is empty: Confirm that the correct account is signed in. The organization’s administrator may need to assign the account to a course or user group.

Contacting Ed Support

For unresolved login trouble, contact the learning program administrator first. That person can verify the registered username, confirm course assignments, check whether the organization uses SSO, and correct organization-level account settings.

Ed’s official Help Center also provides live chat for technical support. When reporting a problem, include the account email, device type, operating system, whether the issue occurs in the app or browser, and the exact error message. A screenshot can help, but remove passwords, reset links, and other sensitive information before sharing it.

Account Security Tips

  • Start from the verified official site or an invitation you expected.
  • Do not enter Ed credentials into unofficial login mirrors or lookalike pages.
  • Never share a password, temporary password, SSO code, or password-reset link.
  • Use a unique password and store it in a trusted password manager.
  • Sign out after using Ed on a shared computer or mobile device.
  • Reject unexpected sign-in prompts and report suspicious messages to the organization’s administrator.
  • Keep the browser, phone operating system, and Ed app updated.
