Official DTA Connect Login

Start at {site} or open the DTA Connect app installed from your device’s official app store. The real service identifies itself as Massachusetts DTA or DTA Connect and uses the Commonwealth of Massachusetts identity system for account access.

On the website, select Log In near the top of the page. Avoid sign-in pages reached through advertisements, unexpected messages, or unofficial app listings. A genuine login screen asks for the email address and password connected to your account. It should not ask for payment.

Before entering anything, check that the page shows the expected Massachusetts government branding and that your browser does not display a security warning. If you followed an unfamiliar link, close it and begin again from {site}.

How to Log In

Your DTA Connect login uses the email address and password chosen when the online account was created. The same credentials are used on the website and in the official mobile app.

  1. Open DTA Connect and select Log In.
  2. Enter the complete email address associated with your account.
  3. Enter your password exactly as created. Passwords are case-sensitive.
  4. Select Log In to continue.
  5. If an authentication or verification prompt appears, follow the instructions shown on the official screen.
  6. After authentication, wait for the account home page to load before selecting a case feature.

If you have an account but have not connected it to your DTA case, signing in may be successful even though case details are missing. Account linking is separate from login. Follow only the prompts shown in DTA Connect or ask official support for help connecting the correct case.

Recover Your Login Information

If you forgot the password, select Reset Password or the forgotten-password option on the official login screen. Enter the email address used to create the account, then follow the instructions sent to that inbox. Check the spam or junk folder if the message is not visible.

Use only the newest recovery message you requested. Verification codes and reset instructions can expire or be replaced by a later request. Never share a verification code or password with someone who contacts you unexpectedly.

If you are unsure which email address you used, check your inboxes for earlier DTA Connect account messages. Do not create several accounts just to test different addresses, because that can make it harder to identify the account connected to your case.

During account creation or case linking, DTA Connect may verify information such as your email address, name, date of birth, Agency ID, or EBT card number. Enter details exactly as they appear in DTA records. An Agency ID may appear on a DTA notice. If you cannot complete the official verification process, contact DTA rather than guessing repeatedly.

Fix Common Login Problems

  • Incorrect email or password: Re-enter the email without spaces and check capitalization in the password. Make sure password autofill did not insert credentials for another account. Use the official reset option if the password remains uncertain.

  • Account appears locked: Stop repeated attempts. Use the recovery option presented on the login screen. If the screen gives no usable recovery path, contact official support.

  • Verification message does not arrive: Confirm that the displayed email is correct, search the inbox for DTA Connect messages, and check spam or junk. Request another message only through the official screen.

  • Code is rejected: Enter the newest code exactly as shown, without extra spaces. If you requested several codes, older ones may no longer work. Restart the recovery process if the page directs you to do so.

  • Case information is missing: This can mean the account is not linked to the case, not that the login failed. Follow the linking prompt or ask DTA to check the connection.

  • Page keeps returning to login: Close duplicate DTA Connect tabs, allow cookies, and try again in one current browser tab. A private browsing window may help identify a stored-cookie problem.

  • Temporary error: Refresh once. If the error continues, close the page, reopen the official service, and try another current browser or network. Do not rely on an unofficial page while the service is unavailable.

Access DTA Connect on a Phone

You can complete a DTA Connect log in through a mobile browser or the official DTA Connect app. The app is available for supported Apple and Android devices through their official app stores. Check the developer and government branding before installing it.

In a mobile browser, open the official service, select Log In, and enter the same email address and password used in the app. If the sign-in screen does not load, confirm that the phone has a working connection, reload the page, and close other browser tabs. You can also clear browser data for the site or try a current alternative browser.

For app problems, close and reopen the app, check for an update in the official app store, and restart the phone. If necessary, try the mobile website. Do not uninstall the app until you are confident you know the account email and password needed to sign back in.

Contact DTA Connect Support

Contact official support when password recovery cannot verify your account, your correct credentials remain rejected, the account is locked without a recovery option, case information cannot be linked, or the website and app both fail after basic troubleshooting.

Use the verified contact block provided with this page or the Contact option within the official DTA service. For a technical DTA Connect problem, use the official app help desk contact shown there. For help involving your DTA case or account connection, use the official DTA assistance contact.

Have your full name, the email address used for DTA Connect, and your Agency ID if available. Be ready to describe the exact error and whether it occurred on the website or app. Do not send your password, a verification code, or a full card number in an ordinary support message.
