Before You Cancel

The place where you started the subscription controls where you must cancel it. Signing in to the FuboTV app does not change who manages the billing.

Before starting, identify the email address used for FuboTV and the account that handles the subscription. Check your FuboTV account details, the original confirmation message, or the description attached to the recurring charge. It may show that the subscription is managed directly by FuboTV, Apple, Google Play, Roku, or another provider.

Use the same FuboTV profile and the same Apple Account or Google Account used at signup. If another household member set up the subscription, that person's account may control it.

Deleting the FuboTV app does not cancel a subscription. You must complete the cancellation process with the company that manages the billing.

How to Cancel in the FuboTV App

If you are searching for how to cancel FuboTV on the app, begin by signing in with the email address connected to the active subscription. Account controls can differ by app version and device, so do not assume that a visible profile menu contains billing controls.

  1. Open the FuboTV app and sign in to the correct account.
  2. Select the profile connected to the subscription.
  3. Open the profile, settings, or account menu.
  4. Look for My Account, Account, Subscription, or Manage Subscription.
  5. If the app displays a cancellation control, select Cancel and follow every prompt until a successful-cancellation message appears.
  6. If the app opens a browser or tells you to manage the account elsewhere, continue in that location. Do not stop after leaving the app.

FuboTV's official instructions for subscriptions managed directly by FuboTV use its online account page. If the app does not provide the complete process, open {site} in your phone's browser, sign in, select a profile, open the settings menu, and choose My Account. Select Subscription, scroll to the bottom, and select Cancel. Continue through the remaining screens and select the final cancellation control. A page stating that the subscription was successfully canceled should appear.

This browser route is the reliable answer to how to cancel FuboTV on app when the installed app only provides viewing or limited account settings.

Subscriptions Billed by Apple

If Apple manages the subscription, cancel it in the Apple subscription settings rather than in FuboTV. Use the Apple Account that was active when the subscription began.

  1. Open the Settings app on the iPhone or iPad.
  2. Tap your name.
  3. Tap Subscriptions.
  4. Select FuboTV from the list.
  5. Tap Cancel Subscription and follow the confirmation prompts. You may need to scroll to find the button.

If FuboTV is absent, check whether the device is signed in to a different Apple Account. You can also review Apple communications associated with the subscription to identify the correct account. When there is no cancellation button and Apple shows an expiration message in red, Apple says the subscription is already canceled.

Subscriptions Billed by Google Play

A subscription managed by Google Play must be canceled through Google Play. Make sure the Play Store is using the Google Account that originally handled the subscription.

  1. Open the Google Play app.
  2. Tap the profile picture.
  3. Open Payments and subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
  4. Select FuboTV.
  5. Tap Cancel subscription.
  6. Follow the on-screen instructions and complete the confirmation.

Uninstalling either FuboTV or Google Play does not complete these steps. If FuboTV is not listed, switch among any Google Accounts used on the device and check Subscriptions again.

Confirm That Cancellation Worked

Do not rely only on returning to the home screen or closing the app. Confirm the result with the billing provider that accepted the cancellation.

  • For a subscription managed directly by FuboTV, sign in again, open My Account, and select Subscription. FuboTV says an account scheduled to cancel displays the date and time when the subscription will end. A canceled account may instead display reactivation choices.
  • For Apple billing, reopen Settings, tap your name, choose Subscriptions, and select FuboTV. Check that Apple shows the subscription as canceled or displays its expiration information instead of a Cancel Subscription button.
  • For Google Play billing, return to the Subscriptions area, select FuboTV, and verify that its status no longer shows an active renewal.

Save a screenshot of the final confirmation page or status screen. Also retain any confirmation sent by the billing provider. These records help if the account status later appears unclear.

If the Cancel Option Is Missing

A missing option usually means you are in the wrong account, the subscription is managed somewhere else, or that version of the app does not expose full account controls.

  • Sign out of FuboTV, then sign in with any other email address you may have used. Confirm that the account shows the active subscription before changing anything.
  • Check every relevant Apple Account or Google Account. A subscription appears only under the account that manages it.
  • Review the FuboTV account details and the original confirmation record for the billing provider's name. If Roku or another third party manages the subscription, use that provider's subscription settings.
  • If the mobile app has no Subscription or Cancel control, use a phone browser and the direct-account procedure on {site}.
  • If you cannot sign in, use the password-reset option for the suspected email address. A reset message arriving in that inbox can help identify the account.
  • If the account and billing provider still cannot be identified, open FuboTV's official Help Center through its support option and use the available contact method. For Apple, Google Play, Roku, or another provider, contact that provider's official support instead.

When asking for help, provide the account email and the billing provider shown on your records. Do not send a password, one-time verification code, or full payment details.
