How to Cancel Fubo in the App

Before You Cancel Fubo in the App

First, identify who bills the subscription. The company that collects the recurring payment also controls the cancellation. Signing out of Fubo, deleting the app, or removing it from your phone does not stop billing.

Check the original confirmation email, the description on your payment statement, and the subscription settings on your phone. You can also sign in to Fubo and review the Account or Subscription area. It may identify Fubo or another billing provider.

Make sure you are using the same email address and profile connected to the active subscription. If you have used more than one email address, check each one. A missing subscription often means the wrong Fubo, Apple, or Google account is open.

  • If Fubo bills you directly, manage the subscription through your Fubo account.
  • If Apple bills you, cancel in the iPhone Settings app.
  • If Google Play bills you, cancel through Google Play.
  • If another provider is named, use that provider’s subscription controls.

How to Cancel Fubo on the App

Can I cancel Fubo through the app? The Fubo viewing app may not show a cancellation control. Fubo’s official instructions direct customers billed by Fubo to the account settings available through its site. You can complete those steps in a mobile browser on the same phone.

  1. Open {site} in your phone’s browser and sign in with the email address and password for the active subscription.
  2. Select the correct profile if Fubo asks you to choose one.
  3. Open the settings menu and select My Account.
  4. Select Subscription.
  5. Scroll to the bottom of the page and select Cancel.
  6. Continue through every screen until you select the final Cancel Subscription control.
  7. Wait for the page stating that the subscription was successfully canceled, then dismiss the message.

Do not stop when you first select Cancel. An intermediate page does not mean the request is complete. Continue until Fubo displays the successful-cancellation message. If you searched for “how to cancel Fubo on the app,” “how to cancel Fubo on app,” or “where to cancel Fubo in app,” this mobile-browser account page is the correct route for a subscription billed directly by Fubo.

Canceling a Subscription Billed by Apple or Google

How to cancel Fubo on the iPhone app depends on the billing record. If Fubo appears under your Apple subscriptions, do not try to cancel it inside the Fubo app.

  1. Open the iPhone Settings app.
  2. Tap your name, then tap Subscriptions.
  3. Select Fubo.
  4. Tap Cancel Subscription and follow the confirmation prompts.

If there is no Cancel Subscription button, or the screen displays an expiration message, Apple indicates that the subscription is already canceled. If Fubo is absent, confirm that the correct Apple Account is signed in and review the original billing receipt.

To cancel Fubo on the Android app when Google Play handles billing:

  1. Open Google Play and confirm that the correct Google Account is selected.
  2. Open the account menu and go to Payments and subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
  3. Select Fubo.
  4. Tap Cancel subscription and complete the on-screen instructions.

Uninstalling either the Fubo app or Google Play does not cancel recurring billing. When people ask how to cancel a Fubo app subscription, the key question is which account processed the subscription—not which device streams Fubo.

How to Confirm the Cancellation

For a subscription billed directly by Fubo, return to My Account and open Subscription or Account Information. A subscription set to cancel should show the date and time when access will end. After access has ended, signing in may show an option to reactivate. Do not select it if you want the cancellation to remain in place.

Continued access does not necessarily mean cancellation failed. Fubo says an active subscription can remain available through the end of its current billing period. Use the displayed status or end date, not whether a program still plays, as your confirmation.

For Apple or Google Play billing, reopen the relevant Subscriptions screen. Look for an expiration date, a canceled status, or the absence of an active renewal. Keep the official confirmation email or take a screenshot showing the status and account used.

If the Cancel Option Is Missing

The control may be missing because the wrong profile or email is open, another company handles billing, the subscription is already canceled, or the mobile app does not include account-management controls.

  • Check other email addresses you may have used with Fubo.
  • Switch among your Apple Accounts or Google Accounts and review Subscriptions in each.
  • Compare the billing provider shown on the original receipt or payment statement.
  • Use a mobile browser and open the Fubo My Account area instead of searching the viewing app.
  • Reset the Fubo password through the official sign-in screen if you cannot access the account.

If the subscription belongs to Apple, Google Play, Roku, or another provider, contact that provider’s official account or billing support. Fubo may not be able to change billing records controlled by a third party.

Getting Help With Cancellation

Before contacting support, prepare the account holder’s name, the email addresses that may be connected to Fubo, the billing provider, the date of the latest charge, the device used to start the subscription, and any cancellation confirmation. Do not send a full payment-card number or password.

For a Fubo-billed account, open the Help Center from {site} and use its Contact Us option. Describe which cancellation steps you completed and what appeared afterward. For Apple or Google Play billing, use the support route inside that provider’s official account or subscription area. This gives the team that controls recurring billing the information needed to check the status.
